The Ridgewood Middle School library is constantly being updated and expanded. Currently, there are 35 student computer workstations, 2 circulation desks, a presentation station, and over 12,000 books.
At the beginning of the school year, the RMS librarian holds an orientation class for all students in order to familiarize them with the resources available both in-house and online. Developing a love of reading is stressed, and student requests are taken into consideration when books and other materials are being ordered.
The RMS library offers the AR (Accelerated Reader) program as well as regular rotations for LAE/Reading classes to visit the library for research, leisure reading, and checking out books.
